Winnie

Adopted May 8, 2020…

*Due to an incredible amount of applications for Winnie, we will be putting further applications on hold*

Winnie is a super sweet, 9 month old girl who is doing well in her foster home.  She is still learning the ropes with house-breaking but for the most part, let’s them know when she needs to be let outside to do her business.  She does have some separation anxiety, so her foster folks have been crating her for a couple of hours a day to get her used to being on her own for small periods.  She’s amazing with other dogs, cats and chickens (for the most part) but loves to chase little birds though. She’s a total goof ball, full of love! She’s great off leash and her recall is amazing. She is still just a pup, so general obedience training should be continued to help her be her best self. She loves to jump up and hug, so her foster folks are working on that.  She is very fearful of men, and it takes quite some time for her to warm up. Due to covid-19 restrictions, we have not been able to get her spayed yet, but will be done as soon as the restrictions for non-emergency vet services have been lifted.
