Once again we had a spectacular Dane-a-Thon with 235 people and 103 dogs in attendance.
The weather was cool (13 degrees), fortunately without rain, but everyone had a blast.
Once all the pictures come in, they will be posted next week, so keep checking for the follow-up galleries, winners, and comments.
Our thanks go to all who made it possible, including:
Tom Krizsan who donated the venue; Dr. Ken Burgess and staff for veterinary coverage; those who donated food, water (human and dog), Silent Auction Items; the participants who took time to get over $7,000 in pledges; Cathy and Dave Payne with Morgan; Sherri Davis from BRB K9 Wrangling and Professional Dog Services for assistance with behavioural questions, one-on-one training throughout the event and the ‘Darn Good Dog Show’ which everyone thoroughly enjoyed; the dedicated volunteers who gave up countless hours to organize and setup the event; and last, but certainly not least, all those who took the time to come out and participate in the activities to make it a fun day.
